This means that if a component is not listed, it is covered.

More good news - this full spectrum of coverage will take effect when the manufacturer's new vehicle limited warranty (bumper‑to‑bumper) expires for in‑warranty vehicles. Coverage for out‑of‑warranty vehicles will take effect at the time of vehicle purchase.

  • Service for eligible repairs at thousands of licensed facilities across the U.S. and Canada
  • 24/7 roadside assistance, trip interruption¹² and alternate transportation
  • The ability to upgrade to Major Guard / Major Guard EV coverage with a $0 or $250 disappearing deductible option; the $250 disappearing deductible option allows you to waive your deductible when you return to the dealer from whom you purchased your Major Guard / Major Guard EV plan for covered repairs (or a dealership that is affiliated with the selling dealership and has been registered as such).

Roadside Assistance - Enjoy the following 24/7 roadside assistance services anywhere you travel in the U.S. and Canada:

Trip Interruption - Covers associated expenses up to $150 per day, and $750 maximum for any unplanned hotel and/or restaurant expenditures incurred if a covered component fails and requires your vehicle to be kept overnight for repairs.¹²

Alternate Transportation - If covered repairs take two or more labor hours to complete or your vehicle is not drivable and must be kept overnight, your limited warranty will help cover the cost for a rental vehicle, rideshare, or public transportation (Some limitations apply).
